Matt Dilan's character has progressed so much sense the second pilot. From not having any feelings, to now full fledged sympathy. We saw the holes in his armor when Dodge was saved from fire, and now his care and assistance of this family shows he really does care.

I will re-listen to this episode and see. having a cast list is hard since they only credit the announcer not all the actors. I am not sure but they may have wanted kids to believe that the people on the radio where real.

I thought the villain's voice sounded like Clayton Moore but couldn't locate a cast list. There was no credit that I could find for Moore doing this show.

I have to say that I love the Lone Ranger. But there is a certain trait I'm noticing in every episode. The word "Savy"... Its like th're out west so everyone out west has to say "Savy"...I really do like the show but that one thing bothers me...Keep up the great work!

Good show. But the way CBS did the commercials on this one was irritating. Seemed like we got shorter commercial breaks but more of them. This, like the first 20 episodes of the radio show was based on a TV episode. The TV episode is "The Englishman." Any strong Have Gun Will Travel Fans who happen to have the Season 1 DVD can compare the TV and radio show. I got an error saying CBS had pulled the episode for some reason when I tried to watch online

Hey just wanted to suggest a new show whenever you open a new slot for your podcast. I really enjoy "Tales of the Texas Rangers" a lot but this being the Have Gun Will travel page I thought I might suggest "Frontier Gentlemen" its a great show starring John Dehner playing an Englishmen much like the one from "British Courage" its a really good show.

I love the idea of Jimmy Stewart being a cowboy I have his movie "Broken Arrow" and its great...He makes a gun toteing fast shooting cowboy realistic holsome and fun...

Hey there, just wanted to leave you a comment and say how much I enjoy the show. I really like "The Lone Ranger," "Have Gun, Will Travel," and "The Challenge of the Yukon." I have to say that I'm not a big fan of the Cisco kid. Keep up the good work!
